Hosting

This website is hosted on GitHub Pages, a service of GitHub, Inc., 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you visit the website, GitHub processes technically necessary data (in particular your IP address, date and time of access, the page requested and your browser's user agent) in server logs to deliver the website and to keep it secure. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of the website.

This may involve a transfer of data to the USA. GitHub, Inc. is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission has adopted an adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR). Further information: GitHub Privacy Statement.

Contact by email

If you contact us by email, for example to ask for early access, we process your email address, your name if provided and the content of your message in order to reply. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your request relates to steps prior to a possible future contract, and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR otherwise. We delete this data once your request has been dealt with, or – for early-access requests – as soon as you ask us to, or when the project is discontinued.

Emails are processed using Microsoft 365 (Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd., One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland). A transfer to Microsoft Corporation in the USA cannot be ruled out; Microsoft is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Your rights

Under Art. 15–21 GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. To exercise these rights, just send an email to the address above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in Italy the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).
